Pomegranate workshop - Tansformers

Educational product for hearing impaired children

I am planning to design a product that will help the child to learn phonems or sounds of language faster. Later on the product can be used to teach the child about word formation in case of difficulties. So I am seeing this product as one that represent different phonemes. When I see myself as a child, then I think, I may find this product very useful because it will give something to clingupon while learning this abstract sound which actually I may not be hearing it properly. As a designer I will also add colour, texture, interactive lights etc to make it more playful and relatable to the child. So if I could make a game out of this product, I am quiet confident that it may help to reduce the tedious process of learning and will help the child to go to the next level of learning process. But project will look only into the phoneme part as of now.
Another fact that worrying me..I do not want to say worrying, actually it is like bothoring me, that nobody else is seeing the scope for this product. They all say this is not the way language will be taught and so and so. I wish a day will come when I can make them correct their opinions...or am I not seeing something which I am supposed to see like other seeing now...do not know...
Currently, I am planning to make the ordinay letterforms in hindi and take it to the children to see their reaction....time is very short....
KEEP MOTIVATING ME!!!!!
